Welcome to the Alberta Continuing Care Association Engagement Site

Continuing Care in Alberta

Our voice is stronger together.

The Alberta Continuing Car Association (ACCA) represents continuing care providers across Alberta. Together we champion quality and excellence in continuing care, so that all Albertans can access the care they need, where and when they need it.

Alberta’s aging population is growing rapidly with one in five Albertans to be 65 years of age and older by 2040. Alberta will face increased needs from the growing older adult population and has limited resources to meet these needs.

The ACCA works closely with government, community partners, and other seniors and care-focused organizations, united by the common goal of ensuring our continuing care system meets the diverse needs of Albertans across the province – today and in the future.

This site is a place where we will invite Albertans to engage and share their opinions about critical issues facing continuing care. It’s a place where your voice can be heard.

Watch for survey opportunities as well as resources to help you understand key issues facing continuing care in our province.
